The memory card I chose is specifically designed for use in dashcams. This application is known to eat memory cards quickly as it is continuously recording video whenver the car is running.
Dash cams have become common enough for memory card manufacturers to start paying attention to the longevity of their cards in a constant write application.

The card arrived today along with the new OLED screen. I have installed both, and both are working Place your bets with your favourite bookie as to how long it will last

Your recommendation is noted, and if this memory card fails in an unreasonably short time, I will order one of the SLC memory sticks.

Either way, I will learn something.

I have an update on this experiment. I had a failure today, but it was NOT the memory card, it was the USB card reader that failed.
I pulled the card and reader and put it in my computer. A filesystem check found nothing wrong, so I tried to run a benchmark on the card. Almost immediately after the benchmark started, the USB card reader disappeared from the system, and the benchmark failed. I put the card in my main reader, and it worked fine. I found another card reader I had bought, and it worked fine in that as well. It is now back in the meteobridge pro and working again.

Just thought I'd update this thread.
The uSD memory card is still working. No problems.
