Hi Brian,

Just catching up now that we have a NANOSD that replaced our older TPLink 3020.

Is the preferred method for getting the latest simple update and or full download from the Meteobridge admin page now that you and Boris keep in sync?

If so, can I apply the latest simple update from Meteobridge to be caught up from Aurora MKII 2024 (Mar 24th Ver) ?

Thanks

Subject: Language Option in Weather34 Update

Hi everyone,

I’m Gerald, and I run www.LaFloresta.cat with my Davis Vantage Pro2 and Red Meteobridge setup. I’ve been using Weather34 for a while now and it’s by far the best script I’ve come across—I absolutely love it! I’m also very happy to see continued support and development. 😊

I’m not a programmer, but I’ve been running the previous version of Weather34 with 5 or 6 layouts. Today, I updated to the new version via Meteobridge (as of December 24), and everything seems to be working fine so far. However, I’m wondering where the language option has gone? In the past, I could select different languages (like Catalan) for my region. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.

For context, Josep from Barcelona had helped translate Weather34 into Catalan, but sadly, he passed away recently. He was an incredibly kind and generous person who contributed so much. His support made a huge difference to me, and I miss his help.

Could anyone guide me on how to re-enable or find the language settings?

Thanks so much for all your help!

Best regards,
Gerald

Hi Gerald,

the current template no longer supports language switching, as the maintenance effort was too great.
If you really want to have it, you have to look at the PHP files and translate the English texts into your language. But this is very time-consuming, I know what I'm talking about.

Hi Torsten,

Thank you so much for your quick response! It's unfortunate, but I understand the situation.

Here's my issue: I host my website on a .cat domain, and by law, I'm required to provide content in Catalan. If I don't comply, they can suspend or even revoke my domain.

I'll have to think about my next steps. I can imagine that translating all the individual files and figuring out what needs to be changed would be a real nightmare—especially with the added challenge of starting over after every update.

Thanks again for your reply, and wishing you a wonderful New Year 2025! :-)

(By the way, I'm also German! ;-) )

PS: I switched back to the older version...in Catalan....it works more or less...good enough at the moment.

Thank you again.

Hello, Brian! I saw such a bug, only in 2025! This is after installing the Aurora-Meteobridge-Master file from the meteobridge.

I was able to download the update. I put the file in the appropriate folder, but I can't install it. How do I go about this?

Many thanks, regards

Thorsten

good evening
unfortunately you or your server administrator needs to either install or enable the ZIP extension in PHP to be able to use any ZIP function .it is highlighted in your screenshot in the orange area at the bottom.

Teaser There is something in the air :-)

But I know the reason why you keep your silence up
No, you don't fool me
Well, the hurt doesn't show
But the pain still grows
It's no stranger to you or me
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight
Oh, Lord
Well, I've been waiting for this moment for all my life
Oh, Lord
I can feel it in the air tonight

let Boris reveal in time when it is all done but I think you will like the outcome ..

I noticed something, I had never noticed it before.
The pressure value never changes colour, unlike other values.

Suggestion for next update if possible.

Thanks.
