Hi Brian,
The new MKII is growing on me more and more.

Nice to just look for a color when glancing at a distance. I just updated and the only thing I see (very minor) is the Cloudbase Imperial/Metric units seem to be reversed.
Hope the "work"

is going well.
Take care,
Chuck
Colors are a way forward today we have devices , screens that can differentiate between very fine shades hence the use of HSLA so why not take advantage of it .. Everything will fall into place soon only very minor adjustments needed that said I added the option to set which units are used in the Cloudbase and change the formula to use a fixed based temperature of Fahrenheit then used the common formula of
cloud base = (temperature - dew point) / 4.4 * 1000
probably later I will add the setup option to set elevation so it becomes cloud base = (temperature - dew point) / 4.4 * 1000 + elevation
based on
https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/cloud-base for now it doesn't use elevation

as for work usual case of waiting for client to provide content so its a case of twiddling your thumbs , normal in client web design content is last thing they think about ...
@gary hey ooop dook

yes that looks a bit potatoes outside

do keep that upto date the site will look even better

Hello Brian,
The longer I use the MKII version, the better I like the display with the colours! It's like you described before, people are colour visionaries.... I think this version will be my favourite.
I have a recommendation for the AQ display: You could leave out the unit (pm25) at the bottom of the value, it is already at the top. Instead, the number with the value could be larger...
Best regards
Mike

Hi Brian
I too much prefer the MKII version
However my AQ is still showing the same as the old version - has that changed ?
Also where is cloud height displayed - I cant see that either

Hi Brian
Doh - should have seen that - I blame the vino
I didnt appreciate the fact that moving modules changes the display - is that what does it?
Is there a default sort of layout

Yes exactly, I don't need the dew point in the display...
Now it looks much better with the AQ module, thanks!
Today the first snow of the season fell with a height of 2cm, but unfortunately it is already thawing again...

ok well dewpoint is quite relevant here especially summer months however so here is what we can do is shift the cloudbase out of humidity and replace it with feels like and simply shift the cloudbase to dewpoint so those with scenarios like yourselves with air quality can probably find the feels like more useful .cloudbase i just used to fill a void ..so let me know its not difficult just a matter of minutes.
as for snow no snow for last three years last event was 2017 when we got 75cm in two days at sea level travel a few km along the road as you climbed elevation there was in excess of 100cm basically grid locked the city for a few days .it was pretty to see snow drifting across the sea and obviously picturesque everywhere else..

Same here on the coast - Dewpoint is needed. Switching Cloudbase and Feels Like would work fine for me. AQI in the small module is all I need.

Brian,
for me the cloud base in the humidity module is perfectly ok and I would really like to keep it there.... As a weatherman, I can estimate the dew point from the humidity

but I can understand, if you will change it as you described..
In principle and from a scientific point of view, the cloud base naturally fits better with the dew point than with the humidity....
Greetings
Mike

Hi
I have a question about the Rainfall module MKI. As you can see from the screenshot, Daily Rain is 6.10 mm and Last 24 Hours is 4.90 mm. Should the numbers not be at least the same?

good morning Gand can you provide a url or a copy of your MBrealtimeupload.txt so I can replicate it locally .if its all private feel free to pm or email some details. whilst the screenshot helps to highlight the error but if I cant replicate it locally its hard to pinpoint . often I just grab a copy of MBrealtimeupload.txt from end users url and dump it into my demo locally therefore I should see same issue arise based on the data .
as above feel free to pm or email if it is private I cant remember all the urls unfortunately and sometimes the forum user name doesn't match the email address .

ok Gand thanks I have made a very minor change obviously that scenario in your MBrealtimeupload.txt is not there now so I couldn't replicate your screenshot , tried a few scenarios but always did what was intended .So I have taken a wild guess in the hope it cures it. That said if you see that scenario again grab your MBrealtimeupload.txt and copy it here that way I can see it and understand better to fix it.
