Hi Brian have just done the latest update and i have the following problem with my charts they are showing in white where i use dark mode

Hi just run the update should resolve that some files didn't get uploaded there were almost a 100 files unfortunately looks like some didn't get zipped up .apologies..

Ok but if I make a mistake it is only right to apologize ..

This tends to happen when I switch from using my desktop to a laptop the workflow just feels different .

In the update yesterday there were missing files i.e font folder for charts and the reworked moon phase scripts .

so this morning I double checked the update and all seems ok (theoretically )

Its worth noting when running backups is to get into some routine of storing these backups on your desktop environment be it hard drive or a back up drive.Keeping the backups on your server will increase the size of backups each time and as noted in a previous post this can dramatically grind your server to a halt if you have multiple backups already on server because the backup will basically add those to the backup your running . so caution there is required and some form of regular routine deleting of backups on server is best practice though don't forget to keep a copy on your desktop environment.

And soThere were 4 on my server, and thus in the backup. It also does not belong in the concept of tidy ..... I thought now that I am cleaning up after you good advice ....

I did update yesterday and this morning again, the march 11th zip. But it keeps telling that it is "version Aurora MKII 10th March 2021
Stable Release".

try downloading again and run it . your site is not reflecting the updates that were missed from yesterday.

Deleted de update directory on the server and the zip. Downloaded and installed the zip. Deleted history. Restart my browser.....No change

I have looked into the server and there are no files present with a date of today (with the exception of the ones you expect it from). Looked into the update zip of today (11the) and there are files made today at 12:01, but on the server with a timestamp of yesterday. That would be correct because I update yesterday the then present update of the 10th

@Bart may have a problem that I have seen before, when the update file is uploaded to the server and then extracted via the normal means, it creates a folder in the root with the name of the zip file as its name as if you had unzipped it with a "unzip here " command
In the folder are all the files and folders unzipped...
I think it might be due to permissions, So when I upload via FileZila I give the zip file 777 permissions before I run the update.
Of course I might be speaking Manchestur Bollox...

No sorry, did work. The update of yesterday had the same permission and did its job. The one of this morning had also permission 644. `I changed it and the files did not get an update. Can I do it manually? I don't think it was Manchester b... but worth a try. At least to an Amsterdam believer...

I've just tried it as per the previous update and when I look I have a new folder under public_html called Aurora-MKII-simple-update-11-03-2021
I really wish I knew what I'm doing wrong sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't...

I can't get it to work either Bart, so have updated manually
What I did was
Unzip update file to PC
Open it you will see two folders
Copy those two over the folders on your webserver
Then do the same with all the remaining files
I'm not suggesting you do this but it worked for me

Ik did copy the files this way. The date of the files on the server changed. So that's ok. But the date in the window "Weather34" (where you seecheck for updates) is still "Aurora MKII 10th March 2021 Stable Release". Maybe someone can see if my site is up-to-date now?
