I use ICDSOFT not seen that scenario in the last 6 years . I would contact support at ICDSOFT if you think its server related there very efficient and responsive .That said my gut feeling is something incorrectly set in the Filezilla itself settings/preferences but I can't confirm that .


please read carefully regarding updates , for the last few months I have compiled updates to have all known fixes etc since March 1st ,as from tomorrow all future updates will only contain fixes if raised *note universal fixes not features etc .Update files will be considerably smaller from there on .
Todays update has all the stuff I have or was working on prior to July ,for the last three days I have tried to look at everything and monitor ,too date I didn't see anything significant to warrant a concern, but who knows

as prior to July I won't be on hand daily to respond or answer anything reliably or in a timely manner from tomorrow evening.

Autumn 2021 will see more focus on releasing a paid version , current version will always work as it would today , paid version has a completely different live data API structure and code so this current version will not work with paid version , I will at the time release a update to allow update from this current version to paid version.So future looks bright perfect winter project to perfect...

your site is not reflecting any updates from the 11TH July download .localized server cache ?? Ive seen this before on your personal server where some files updates but others don't ,could be a number of things . airport shows as expected here locally.

Brian, as mentioned in a previous post (and still present in update 11th July) the pop-out/slide-out menu on Mac Safari still does not work. The menu button does nothing. [Mac OS X 10.14.6 & Safari 13.1]

I should also add that with any lity-container window (which does pop-open) on Safari the close button is not displayed...

Jason developed on Safari !!!!! sorry didn't see previous post but being that is developed on Safari as primary think I would have noticed long ago or others would have highlighted it.

just tested on my wife's Mac work laptop with 10.14 and Safari 13.x but she cropped the screenshot

also tested your site on my desktop screenshots below . clear out your cache or something ,seems Im dealing more with localized issues than template issues . For reference since 2015 it has been designed with safari as the primary browser because I haven't owned a windows computer since 2008 and I kind of have always used Safari since then .

Err...wow. Do you have any idea as to what may be blocking the menu or the close button?

I've done a full clear of browser history & content but it changes nothing. There are no site settings blocking anything. Javascript is enabled.

1) the button is not showing because it's outside the visible area. This is the use of position:fixed vs position:absolute.

2) Still can't see any obvious error. It's as though the menu button has lost it's click-ability even though, from the change in cursor, it's definitely being picked up as a "<a>" tag.

i can only guess , but i notice on your site just now you can only close the popup with the close button , on mine and many others clicking outside the box to the right and below in safari closes the popup. so at a guess jquery file not updated or cached at server level ,particularly easy to overlook if some htaccess, server side cache is being used . using cache of various types is sometimes a pain the ass , my ICDSOFT a month or somago introduced a server side cache which enabled by default it gave me an headache as changes imwas applying to css was not being reflected,then i noticed in the cpanel a new feature so i disabled it ,it was beneficial for large sites and wordpress based sites not small sites lime this template.

jquery file is in the js folder it received some minor changes when i first introduced the newer updated popup script .

so good luck in resolving it thats time its fast approaching and its not just a game its a way of life so tomorrow ill either be full of joy humming we are the champions or walking around utterly miffed .

as above .. and position fixed is perfectly ok for that function . why i am not seeing the issue when visiting your sites ..localized issue dear watson..

Hmmm...bum!

Just checked on my old MacBook Pro with OS 10.15 and Safari 14 and it works as designed. Local problem indeed.

can't teach an old dog new tricks as above localized caches, server side caches can drive you nuts and when you realize you think WTF two hours chasing and recoding for nothing .

see this comparison I just took with yours and using Richards who updated a short while ago

use position : fixed its better across most devices

Just to add more info. On my Mac 10.13.6, Safari 13.1.2 I am seeing the same thing as Jason. The Menu does not work and the X is not showing, to close, on the Extra Popup windows. You can close by clicking an open area.

I also see the same behavior when I go to Jason's site and Weather34. In addition, I can close the Popup Window on both sites by clicking in an open area. May be something unique to this version of Safari and Mac OS.

Hi Brian,

One more minor issue on the UV Extra popup (scroll bar) - seems to Be Firefox only. All other Popups are fine.
