I have a Davis Pro2+ weather station connected to the meteobridge by ip. When I select ip for the station, it gives me 4 different choices that aren't discussed in the instructions.
1) IP (no WL upload)
2) IP (WL upload 10 min)
3) IP (WL upload 5 min)
4) IP (WL upload 1 min)

Does anyone know what this setting does and how should it normally be set?

If you are using a Davis WL-ip logger there are two devices who want to use the ip connection.
1. Meteobridge
2. The ip-logger itself to upload the data to the Weatherlink.com website.

This setting tells Meteobridge te free the connection every 1 5 or 10 minutes to let the WL-ip logger do its upload to Weatherlink.com.

There are two reasons to use the setting IP (no WL upload)
1. You do not want those Weatherlink.com pages so no upload to Weatherlink.com is needed
2. You use an ip connection but it is not a real WL-ip logger. An example would be an ip connection using Virtual VP program.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! After I posted this while experimenting, I set it to 1 minute and noticed that WU Rapid Fire stopped working and that my location flag on the WU map disappeared. I guess it's best to let meteobridge do its thing. I set it back to 10 minutes and should consider dropping WL all together as I only use it for the iPhone app.
