Hello
Have updated to version 5.0i on iConnect having missed out 5.0h and as a result my email push services stopped working. I then saw that version h required me to press "save" on email section of "push services" page in order to have your credentials transformed to the way "msmtp" is expecting them. So I did this and then pressed save & test the result was the following error "Mail send failed: /home/meteohub/msmtprc:1: syntax error at account".

I have checked that my email syntax and it is all correct. so not sure what the problem is.
My entries are as follows:
SMTP Host: mail.btinternet.com:25
Security use TLS unchecked
AuthentificationUsername and Password required checked
Username: ******@btinternet.com
Password *********
Destination Address ******@gmail.com
Source Address *******@btinternet.com

Have you any thoughts
Thanks
John

Today I tried to downgrade to 5.0h to follow the procedure to press save once as described in the aouncement.
But that didn't help get same error with 5.0h.

checked if I can reproduce this with the VMware version but as the liense on the old is expired I can't insert e-mail data before upgrade to 5.0i this didn't work.

I searched on the cli if I find an issue in the config files in the /home/metohub/ folder but both files I found which contain the e-mail details are looking OK and are equal to the one on the VMware installation which works fine. Will check to update my old VMware installtion I have on my other MAC at home on the weekend.

Anyway there seems to be an issue if you don't press save on the e-mail data during the first installtion of 5.0h.

Is there no any chance than rebuild the hole system to fix this :-(
currently my iConnect run stable so don't want to migrate to new/other hardware because there is some strange item with the e-mail.

El
