Software Update via Web doesn't work

I can't get the software update via web for 2.3c to work. The file must be too large or something.

I'm on my home LAN and tranferring the file on a fast network, but it won't take it.

Can someone tell me where the other updating procedure is so I can follow that? i looked in the manual and couldn't find what page it was on or if it was in there.

Thanks.

PS - it would make sense to remove this option in a future release since it is not likely it will be used anymore.

If the web-based update works, depends on browser type, file size and indoor temperature...

or to say it in other words, it sometimes works.
Reason is in the cgi-lib I use. I discovered that specific problem with the lib, when I have already made most of the coding based on it and the other
functions do work fine. So I gave this a low priority to change, having in mind how many time this will consume.

When you download an Update from \"www.meteohub.de\" each update comes with a description how to install with the file-based method.

snip-----------------
Update to Meteohub Version X.X
This update can be installed by Meteohub's web interface in the maintenance section (tested with Firefox). If your browser doesn't support this correctly, try the alternative update process:
1. Copy the update in the \"transfer\" folder that Meteohub offers to on your LAN as a network drive.
2. Install this file with file-based in stall function. Path is \"/data/transfer/[myupdatefile]\"

I usually scroll down to the bug fix listing in the update so that's why I overlooked it. Thanks.
