HELP - Meteobridge is disrupting my internet connection

Hello.
I installed metobridge on a TP-Link MR-3040 and it works. My problem is that is causes my wifi to fail after a short while. It knocks out all wifi to the Motorola SurfBoard wide band modem/router. If I connect it via an ethernet cable it causes all connected devices to lose connection, including other hand wired PC's. I am at my wits end here. I cannot find a way to get my weather station data to the web without losing my web connection. Does anyone have any possible solutions I might try?

Thank you.

One possibility seems to be a duplicate IP.
If it hits the gateway address, then you knock out other connections too...

Thank you. I will check to see if I can give it a static ip via my router.

I was unsuccessful in setting a permanent IP. Unfortunately I have it so buggered up it I no longer have any access. I couldn't find a way to reset it. Not sure what to do now.

I had been reading there. I saved a setting to a stick but no joy when I put the stick in and restart.

Works fine for me and many others... however, you always still can go back to LAN DHCP defaults as explained in the wiki.
