ftp upload test not working

Just setup a new TP-Link MR3020 and am in the middle of the 14-day trial. Everything appears to be working, but Meteobridge does not send the ftp test file when the "Test Upload" button is pressed. I can successfully upload files to the ftp server using an ftp program. My ftp account password contains only upper/lower case letters and numbers, no special characters. Any ideas why this won't work?

I just thought of one possible reason Meteobridge ftp might not be working: I transferred domain name servers to a new web host this morning. Perhaps the domain has not yet fully propagated? I'll try again tomorrow.

Also check if your provider does not need a folder name in "Test Path", often this is something as: "httpdocs" of "publichtml"
See the instructions of your webhosting provider for that.

Thxs for the info.. I tried populating "Test Path:" with "public_html" and "/" and ".". "Test upload" button still doesn't work. .. So, I setup an FPT upload event. The "simple dash.html" template is downloaded and then uploaded successfully as "dashboard.html" (see attachments below). So as long as the FTP events are working, I guess it doesn't matter that "test upload" still doesn't work. Weird.
