Hello

I'm trying out Meteohub, as a green replacement for my Weahter Display setup.

Installation was straight forward, but system info tells me WAN IP no internet access? FTP upload is working, but email doesn't.

I can't figure out, what the problem is, since I'm using dhcp with my router, and have static assigned 192.168.1.150. There's no limitations in the routers firewall.

Also Meteohub tells me, that there's no update, even the newest version is 5.0k - at the moment I'm running 5.0f. I guess its related to the "no internet" problem.

I have a static public ip adress from my ISP, and I've setup a port forward as described in the manuel from port 7777 outside to port 80 inside. It works pretty well from outside, so how come the Mteohub tells me "no internet"??

Another really really strange problem - I can't browse to http://www.meteohub.de ? No computers on my lan can access this page, but it worked days ago? My mobile WWAN on my laptop has no problems accessing meteohub.de. I really can't figure this out, since I haven't changed any settings in my Asus router?

To answer my own question...

I've spendt many hours to figure out this mistory - router reset, new firmware on router, settings etc. Then I tried to disconnect my own router, and one computer directly to my ISP cable modem... Still no access to www.meteohub.de, forum.meteohub.de.

So problem is ISP related... Gave them a call, and they are going to investigate it tomorrow.

Very stange problem...

I have the same issue with 5.0m on my PI2:

* no access to internet
* finds no updates
* smb mount "public" is not visible in the network

My problem was fixed by my ISP - now I have "internet access" and I can access www.meteohub.de in my browser.

Sounds like you problem is related to local area network, since you can't access smb neither. Router problem, ip conflict ?

I hope you'll locate the problem

One again my Mini-SD-Card in my PI was the problem. I found several error messages in the log of meteohub and i had to rewrite the SD-Card with an older copy of an image i took. I moved my weather data to an external USB-stick before and i had no lost of data.
