I just logged into my meteobridge and saw in the Live Data tab the following:

Weather Underground: 2016-01-15 22:13:36 Error: wget: unable to resolve host address 'rtupdate.wunderground.com' (no more tries)
WeatherBug Backyard: 2016-01-15 22:14:37 Error: wget: unable to resolve host address 'data.backyard2.weatherbug.com' (10 more tries)

If I refresh the screen a few times the WeatherBug error goes to Success! but the Weather Underground line stays an error most of the time.

Looking on Weather Underground and WeatherBug it seems the data is getting out, sometimes.

I have Meteobridge 2.6 (Jan 14 2016, build 8673), FW 1.2, and rebooted, but no change.

Any ideas?

I've been using a local DNS for years, but I see that maybe I should try 8.8.8.8 for my DNS. I will give that a shot tomorrow and report back...

That also would be my recommendation.

Yeah, it was tired last night and posted the question THEN searched the forum and saw your recommendation for 8.8.8.8 - did it backwards.

Anyway, I have all of my network devices point to my router and in my router I point (right now) to my ISP DNS (Primary and Secondary). I'm guessing they were having issues last night because this morning everything looks great.

However, this event has pushed up "Look for the "best" DNS for my network" on my To Do list. I did see Steve Gibson has one of his cool apps to test DNS speed and analyze the results (Google: DNS benchmark Steve Gibson). I'll probably start there to see the best speed/security combination.
