Meteobridge reporting incorrect rain

On two occasions in the last 2 weeks my Meteobridge on random days shows a very small amount of rain. The first time I think it showed .02 inches on rain, and on the second occasion it showed .03 inches of rain. Neither time did either console see this rain (I am using two different consoles a 1036, and a 1515). And both times Meteobridge's history on the "live data tab" logged this rain was during clear skies. Considering both consoles did not see this rain, I have to point my finger at Meteobdrige, or the wireless connection. But my connection has always been very strong, and I am not aware of any other wireless communication that transmits close to 433 MHz frequency. Anyone else seen this issue ?
It's a pain going into Meteobridges history log to edit this data to insure my numbers are accurate.

Meteobridge Support, and/or Admin, any answers to this issue I am having ? I just had to reset the history files once again in Meteobridge. Meteobridge in the last hour
was showing .24 inches of rain, and again neither of my two consoles showed any rain. I hate to have to keep going in Meteobridge to reset the history information !!!!!

will take care of this, but you are not the only one out there.

have you done reboots or something similar during that period?

Since my last reply, I did a reboot which I noticed updated the bridge to the latest firmware. I had a couple of days that looked good then all of the sudden it did it again.
So obviously neither the reboot or the newest firmware fixed my problem. Just yesterday March 9th the history file on the Meteobridge was showing .54 inches of rain, but again neither console showed any rain at all for the month of March.

When you find a way to reproduce phantom rain with your Acurite/Meteobridge setupo, I am happy to dig into details. Just from discovering that there suddenly is phantom rain somehow gives me no idea where to look.

I understand. But there is no way to reproduce. It is totally random. Generally it happens once every couple of days..

So is anyone else having this same issue that I am having. I am really getting tired of needed to go into Meteobridge and resetting the rain amounts. I tried resetting the USB by unplugging and resetting both the console and the Meteobridge and nothing helps. Just three days ago, (A SUNNY DAY), the Meteobridge showed .75 inches of rain, and absolutely no rain fell. This happens every two or three days. I would tend to think if I were to have problems it would be something more complicated like wireless issues etc, but not with my direct connection between the console and the Meteobridge. This is really disappointing considering I paid $200.00 !!

One can never rule out that it is a general bug in how rain calculation is done inside Meteobridge for the Acurite,
but then I think there should be a way to reproduce it. Does it show up on every new start of Meteobridge?
Does it show up when you change settings on "station" page and by that the data logger gets restarted?
If it is not bound to this, then it must be something with the communication between Meteobridge and
the Acurite that just happens here and there... no real good idea how to spot this.
Funny thing is, that I have not heard of this problem from other Acurite users. There are not that much out
there, but I would assume that a bug like this would have been reported at least once during the last few
years.

Possible suggestion. I was having a similar issue.
Resolution was to change the FR Sensitivity to the recommended value of -10 db off reported Live Data. Having this sensitivity too high (set @ -90 db) caused erroneous rain recordings within my meteostick/meteobridge system.
Might be worth a try.

Admin, nope does not happen following a restart, or changing settings. This is totally random, it seems to occur every two maybe three days. I just may have to live with this. May also look into the Accurite blogs to see if anyone else is having this problem.
Pepe, you must have a different setup than I have I am unable to adjust the settings you spoke about. Accurite console connects directly to my Meteobridge via USB wire, then transmits wireless to my router.
