Vantage Vue no longer transmitting data to internet *solved*

Hello,

Six days ago, we had a power outage for a short while. Since then, our Davis Vantage Vue has not been able to transmit data online. (Before this, it had been transmitting with no problem for months.) The Vantage Vue itself is working fine, just not transmitting to internet.

I followed the instructions in the post about resetting the Vantage Vue (disconnected the TP-LINK MR3020 from console, took batteries out of console, disconnect console from power supply, waited a few minutes, reconnected TP-LINK, put batteries back in, reconnected power supply). I also use a hub in between the TP-LINK and the Vantage Vue.

I have used the magicip address and gotten the device online to manage it. When I click on "Network", I get a blank screen except for this message: "The CGI process did not produce any response." The other tabs seem to work fine.

I have pushed the reset button several times and in a variety of ways to try to get things back to default.

Any help on this would be really appreciated. I would really like to get our station back on Weather Underground.

Someone helped me with this and the problem is resolved. I simply needed to go back to an earlier firmware version. Now things are working fine.

Newest firmware version does now work again in the setup that provided the mentioned problems to you.
