Reboot = Year Rain goes to zero **solved**

Hello
Just rebooted my Meteobridge with Meteostick connected and now Year Rain is zero.
I'm using this for inserting data into MySQL: [rain0total-yearsum:0]
"Rain Total" on the Live Data page also shows zero all over.
I'm booting from a attached USB stick (Try USB first).
Kind Regards

"fixes a rain sensor issue occurring on some for Davis stations"
Is this related to my issue?
EDIT: No, same situation.

Problem looks like being related to using the USB stick. Are min/max
values for other sensors as well not made permanent?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
No issue with the others sensors. But this is strange: I just rebooted and now it remembers the rain-total, did you do anything ?

Update:
We had a lot of rain this night (14mm) so I decided to reboot the MB. Now all that rain is gone in the Historical Data so there is a issue with the historical rain-data. Rain-total for "Year", "Month" and "All" is now 1.6mm and "Today" and "Yesterday" is 0mm (And we had rain both days).

I think you should use [rain0total-yearsum.0:0], with [rain0total-yearsum:0] if there is no valid data meteobridge will show 0.
Because of your tag and replacement.
Using .0:0 will make your replacement when there is no valid data 0
.0 means using no tenths so the value is rounded to for example 10.6mm will be 11
If you have rainfall yeartotal measured with tenths then use .1:0 in your tag.
Maybe meteobridge is having problems when there is no decimal selector specified.
Good luck wsNoordbergum

Thanks for your post bust this is not the case: Historical rain-data is = 0.

Any news about this?

latest release should no longer reset rain totals to zero on a reboot.
There was an issue in the past but this has been fixed. I tested this a week ago and it worked fine.

Not solved.
Reboot = "Rain total today" & "Rain total month" = zero.
I guess "Rain total yesterday" will also go to zero.
Rain year before reboot: 7.6mm
Rain year after reboot: 5.2mm
Before:

After:
Is my Meteostick defective?

Nothing to do with Meteostick. The Meteobridge has to handle that.
I will give it some more tests with my rig here on the week end.
You are using the most recent releases?

You are using the most recent releases?[/quote]
Using this: Meteobridge 2.9 (Jun 2 2016, build 9924), FW 1.4
When not getting the latest release I'm booting from USB.

Hi,
I turn with this version:
Meteobridge 2.9 (Jun 8 2016, build 9935), FW 1.4
And did not suffer from the problem you describe.
Here you meteobridge restart with latest version.
I think the problem is also away at you.
