MBPro - Standard/Default Screen display

Is there a standard/default screen display for the MBPro Red and/or Black?
I have Reds that display
smartbedded
Lic: details
IP: address
I have a Black that displays
smartbedded
Lic: details
Solid filled bar (full width of screen)
Is the solid filled bar a standard feature of the Black Pro? or should it be showing the IP address like the reds?
Edit: Well now, 1 red has re-started after this power failure with a solid filled bar along the bottom instead of the IP address. what does this mean?
