I have a Meteostick plugged into a Meteobridge and the Meteobridge says:

logger (05.07.2016 12:19:27): station 0 (Meteostick Vantage), can't open device /dev/ttyMH: No such file or directory

There is a problem with the Meteostick. The Meteostick is plugged into the Meteobridge properly. How come that Live Tab still shows live data from the weather station?

It will not, but if the connection works partially you might have partial data.
It will need more detail to understand the situation. When you refer to the
Windfinder Meteobridge in Tanzania that does not receive data from a Vue,
then I don't have a clue why no data coming in, as written separately. Can
be Meteostick or can be the Vue... as no console there, hard to say.
