Request for enhancement.. MEDIUM priority

Would it be possible to add a selector (especially for us high altitude stations in the U. S.) where we could option to use calculated MSL pressure or Altimeter setting (as reported to CWOP) for reporting to all networks?
I don't know what the 'scientific' rule is, but every nearby official NWS station nearby is reporting 29.98 inHg and that is the value I am reporting (via meteobridge calculation) to CWOP, but the value reported to all other networks is 30.34, which is the value calculated as MSL pressure by meteobridge.
Again, maybe it's a thing here in the US, but every nearby radio, TV station or weather site is reporting 29.9x for current barometer.
As I am sited at 5,000 feet elevation, the difference between meteobridge's altimeter setting (29.98) and MSL pressure (30.34l is significant.
The ability to report altimeter setting rather than the calculated MSL setting would be a major plus to me.
Thanks for considering this
Don

This has become a larger priority for me. AWEKAS blocked my pressure sensor because it's consistently high.
IF I had a way to send them the pressure reported to CWOP (which always passes MADIS and tracks exactly with expected values.
My only other choice would be to cheat, say I am at sealevel and add 5 inHg to absolute reading.

I am trying to keep this request to one thread here, but I am not getting any reply from admin.
For higher altitude stations (I am at 5,000 feet) ... Plain and simple, the calculation for "air pressure" being sent is way too high!
Where I can adjust it on the network (AWEKAS), I have to subtract 0.35 inHg! That is a lot! Yet the calculation done by meteobridge to determine "Altimeter" is exactly correct.
I would like to be able select which value is sent to the various networks... A simple checkbox choice of "Send MSLP [] or Altimeter []" would be perfect for each network (or globally) would completely solve the too high problem.
I know for a fact... That the "Pressure" sent to users from WU is NOT what meteobridge calculates for my station. It is always high, but I have no way to adjust it and as a result WU fails me on air pressure quality checks. AWEKAS did the same until I adjusted my user data on their site to lower the pressure.
I know from comparison, and my prior use if Culumus software that the absolute pressure reading on my station is correct within +/- 0.02 inHg. And that the console reading for Relative Pressure is likewise valid within +/- 0.02 inHg.
Please give users a choice.
Thanks
Don

Meteobridge is reporting altimeter or SLP to the networks as they specify in their data upload descriptions.
When a network asks for SLP and you compare data shown there to METAR stations running on altimeter,
then there is a variation and this variation is to be expected.
I understand that you would prefer to have it all in altimeter, but that is up to the weather networks
to decide. When they go altimeter, Meteobridge will also do. In the meantime we stick to SLP for those.
Otherwise this will become a complete mess.
Making altimeter readings available in templates for your own use is something different I will think about.

Ok, I have had my say and you have answered. I will drop this now.
Thank you,
