Acurite 5 in 1 Weather USB console 1035

I've got my Acurite's 1035 USB console hooked up to a TP-Link running Meteobridge.
I've been having problems with the rainfall being wildly mis-reported.
Take a look at today's weather underground for my station:
https://www.wunderground.com/personal-w ... 320/mdaily
The rain started later in the day, but earlier in the day there was a HUGE spike in accumulated precipitation, yet its only drizzled a bit (the last peak in the graph) (all other stations near me are barely recording anything).
When I look at the meteobridge console I see some really messed up rainfall totals and rate of rainfall totals. I wouldn't have thought negative rainfall rates would be possible.
Can I get some feedback on what might be going on here?

Is there a way to enable debug logs so I can see the raw values the console reports? I would really like to determine where the problem lies. If it's with the console then it sounds like a new weather station is in order.

Hi
Did you confirm that the Acurite console is switched to USB mode 3?

Rain rate also looks strange. Can you please send remote login details to "info(at)meteobridge.com".
How to setup remote login is described in the FAQ in this forum.

Did the remote access reveal anything?
I switched out the USB hub recently thinking maybe it was doing something odd. It seemed stable until today when I got a big 0.73in spike of rainfall rate with no actual rain at all today.
Meteobridge reports -2092.5mm/h -82.38in/h minimum rate of rainfall today and 111.6mm/h 4.39in/h maximum.
I find the software on the TP-Link is EXTREMELY slow to respond. As in, I log in and it can take a minute for any of the meteobridge pages to load. Is this normal?

No, that is not normal, if you have a proper network and don't stress the MR3020 with tons of fast firing events.
I can't remember to have your remote login credentials. Please send again and also mention what the problem
is about in the mail (I get tons of mails and need some context to remember what to look for).

I have an AcuRite 1036 weather station. I know that the 1036 is not listed as supported, so I haven't posted about the problems I have with it. I am responding now because the problems are really close to the same as those mentioned in this thread.
In my case, I tried both USB mode 3 and USB mode 4. For both of these, I would sometimes get bad readings (I think on all sensors at different times, but I only noticed the temperature and the rainfall). The display itself had the correct readings.
With USB mode 4, it would run indefinitely, but I would get rainfall when there was none, and some way out temperature readings now and then. There were lots of errors in the Meteobridge logs.
With USB mode 3, it would run for a while (half hour to half a day), then Meteobridge would stop responding. I would have to toggle power to it to get it working again. Note that while it was running, I had the same bad readings as above. Sometimes it was very, very slow to respond to local access, but eventually, it would not respond at all (or send any data out).
I had wanted to use the USB display so that things would work when the internet was down, but I ended up going back to the AcuRite hub + Meteobridge. If it would help your debugging, I could set it back to USB and send you the remote login details.

Thanks for your offer, but I don't plan to widen support for Acurite products. They are rather niche and too troublesome.

I understand. I think I will be going with another brand when my existing AcuRite dies.
