Recently my ftp webcam upload started to fail - it just stops?

A reboot would temporarily work, and stops again.

Unfortunately my problem is not WU related. I ftp a webcam still to my homepage, every second minute - it just stops after a few hours....?

If you can reproduce the error I would like to remote login and check. I have no idea, why this specific FTP upload stops. May be it is because the CAM no longer delivers data and by that the upload process terminates early? But this is just guessing without analyzing the issue on your specific hardware...

I had the same setup for a long time, without any trouble at all. Today it stopped again, so I haven't done anything yet, if you want to have a look. The same webcam is used for uploading stills to an ftp, and I didn't see any trouble here.

Thanks, I am investigating this. I am not yet completely on it, but it looks like the cam picture sometines does not pass the test if it is of true jpeg or png type. If this test fails further processing is halted. Stay tuned...

Just take your time - it's really not that important, but however I would be happy, if we can find the problem

I have the same issue
As long as you are not logged in the meteobridge web interface, the webcam image is ulpoaded to my local ftp server.
When I log in, the upload stops.
The settings are on none.
Have to enable again and select external picture, save settings.
Then it is uploaded.

To me it looks like the settings for uploading webcam image is being reset when you log in the web interface.

Am a new user of meteobridge, did made a test some time ago.
Using firefox as browser.
Started with version 3.7 but rolled back to 3.6
Both versions same issue.
Using a TPlink3020, meteobridge (not pro)

BTW, I do not see an option "logout" on 1 of the tabs in the meteobridge web interface.
If not, please an RFC.

Latest SW release from yesterday should have this fixed. but It has nothing to do with this older posting you attached your finding to.

Not solved when you logon to the webinterface of MB. ftp upload stops.
In TAB "Weatherstation" the Meteobridge Weather Cam is selected to none after logon.
It should be selected to External Picture and stay selected.
Somehow this setting is reset when you logon to the webinterface of MB.

When selecting and configuring again to External Picture, save settings, the ftp upload of webcam picture is restarting.
After reboot there is a green mark left of selection External Picture, and webcam picture still uploaded via ftp (message in TAB Live Data)

Operating with last version and runlevel.
I think it is a smal bug in MB.
