I am attempting a first install of Meteobridge on a DLink-505. When I click on the link for the BIN file to flash the DLink-505 I get an error message 'This site can't be reached'. The link text is meteobridge-dir-505-v1.3.bin and the underlying link is: http://admin.meteobridge.com/files/mete ... 5-v1.3.bin. This is on the page http://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.p ... g_Hardware.

Needless to say my internet connection is working fine.

As discussed via email, the links are working properly. This must be something with your Internet access.
The fact that your flashed DIR-505 stays in fast blink mode also indicates that the device cannot reach out to our servers.

Is your provider blocking parts of the world?
