What are the thoughts on running an Ultrasonic anemometer with a Davis that has the ability to specifically set the anemometer type (Other) as opposed to an MBPro which has no allowance (as far as I am aware) for different anemometer types. I suppose this situation exists between the VP2 & Vue in regard the MBPro anyway as the VP2 has small/Large cup option and the Vue is set to Other(Vue).

I’m using an ultrasonic anemometer for DavisVP2 with MB pro and it’s working fine. I just set the MB to receive from the console instead of the ISS.

Would this be the Darrera 3R UAV01 or another make?

I’m using the solar powered SONIC-ANEMO-DZP model.
