Low budget backup power solution

After I had a poweroutage during a thunderstorm, I decided to see what i could do to make a simple UPS for both my Meteobridge and my Blitzortung-station. I came up with a simple, low-cost solution with a Raspberry Pi extension module: StromPi, produced by JOY-IT. https://www.joy-it.net/strompi/
I connected a battery holder with 4 1,5 v C-cells to the "wide-range power connection", with accepts everything from 6-36V DC. Connected the power supply to the "IN" USB-B connector, and the Meteobridge to the "OUT" connector. Now when I disconnect the power supply the system keeps running perfectly
When the powersypply is connected the green LED lights. When the main power is off, and the system runs on battery power the LED turns blue.
Price of the Strom-Pi and battery holder is below € 25,00
I thought I'd share it with you, maybe it is helpful to someone!
