Vantage Vue and Nano - A Wind Direction observation

Had not thought about this until I installed a Nano in a console receiving from a Vue ISS in the southern hemisphere which due to the all in one design has to be mounted with the solar panel facing north which effectively changes the wind direction by 180 Deg and that is adjusted/allowed for in either the console or WeatherLink, in which case the Nano Local Settings Wind direction Adder: is set to zero. Setting the Nano Local settings wind direction adder compounds with the Console/WeatherLink adjustment where the Console/WeatherLink shows the adjusted direction but the Nano is compounded and can be typically 180 deg out.

I thought you could set the wind direct offset on the console too can you not?

Yes I would think so but never done it that way as always have used a logger of some sort + WeatherLink, in fact use very few consoles, typically all Envoy's, this console setup is just a 1 off
