Hello,
I am very excited because I have just bought my first weather station, Davis Pro2 Plus, with a NanoSD. The on-line description convinced my that it should be easy to use but I struggle. I am an everyday computer user but do not understand anything about the workings of software, computer programmes, communications, etc. Can you please help me and explain in easy to understand language what I need to do to solve the following issues.

1. I like to connect to Home Weather Station - Weather34 but it needs an API URL. I looked at other communications on this forum about this topic and am none the wiser nore was the setup guide on the Weather34 website instructive. I understand that the last part of the link must contain mbridge/mb.php but I have no idea what has to come before. What is my domain? Do I only ready have this somewhere and if so, where do I find it? Alternatively, how do I create my domain (I assume this is athe API part).

2. I have already connected to Wunderground and WOW. Both have green ticks next to the information but my site does not appear when I look at Wunderground and WOW. My son those 2 websites are active and there does not seem to be a problem. It seems my data are not transmitted dispite the green ticks. What can I do?

Hopefully somebody can help.

good morning

i can answer question 1 but not weather underground havent used it for years.

1. weather34 is a website template for those who have a personal web hosting i.e personal website.

alternatively if using nanosd there is an inbuilt version that does not require a personal web hosting service.

future alternative possibly late january two additional options to use a weather34 designed dashboard and not requiring any webhosting simply use your IOS iPad or Android based tablet or a touch screen phone device both apps will be free , no adverts, non monetized free for enthusiasts using nano and combined davis hardware. currently these are nigh on ready but im awaiting a low cost android tablet screen to arrive .

example of realtime use of current alternative console dashboard can be seen here http://singaporeweather.info/console/consoledavis.php and the apps will nigh on be identical .

so in short your 1st question you require a web hosting package.your domain would be what you choose when signing up for a webhosting package i.e https//ivd. xxx/mbridge/mb.php . advice avoid the low cost $1 a month hosting packages.

2nd question wunderground have a cold beer and sit back and wait to see it appears in due course .brian

Dear Brian,
Thank you very much for your easy to understand answer. I am very much looking forward to the phone/tablet version.

Before I set up a personal website, can you tell me how I can access the NanoSD built in version just to use on my laptop? Is it what I see on my meteobridge -graph page ?

I may need a couple of cold beers while I wait: I also cannot see my data on the Met office WOW.

regards,
IVD
