Meteobridge Weather cam - no data

Hi,

I've used Meteobridge for more than 5 years and just manage to try the weather cam. My CCTV is Dahua DH-IPC-HFW-1320SP-W over WiFi. The ping is consistent 3-10ms. When I put the URL to get the picture from the camera, sometimes Meteobridge reports an error as in attached. I copy the URL and put into a browser and it loaded OK. Yesterday, it was OK for the whole day but it just stops working again this morning. But the direct URL on browser always works.

Any suggestion?

When snapshot.cgi does deliver a html wrapped image, Meteobridge cannot work with it. Please check is the result of calling the cgi is really a jpeg and nothing else.

Beside that I cannot give any hints what to do. It is up to you and your web cam.

I've noticed the same error but I just ignore it because the camera upload works. The only thing I can figure is that maybe the camera has a limit on the number of logins as maybe new sessions are being created and the older sessions are staying active. Or maybe it is just a time-out issue with the Meteobridge web GUI. Maybe it is particular to the type of camera that I have...which is the same type of camera the OP has. Mine is a Dahua clone sold by Q-See and I use the same .cgi URL and it does produce a .jpg image though despite it being called .cgi.

Right now, the jpg has been successfully fetched from the camera for 2 days without any issue. Will keep monitoring. Perhaps it may be the number of simultaneous access to the camera itself.
