Hello

I have been using Ultimeter 2100 connected to Alix 1D via RS232-USB converter for many years but about 1 month ago the data stopped coming through. Then a day later it came back to life. I don't recall making any adjustments.

Now the loss of data has happened again. Meanwhile data from my other station the Oregon RMS-300 is coming through fine.

In the meteohub error log I am getting repeat error messages :

logger (20.02.2021 14:05:47): data logger stopped.
logger (20.02.2021 14:05:47): data logger (version 5.1a, build 7386) started.
logger (20.02.2021 14:05:47): station 0 (Ultimeter), can't open device /dev/ttyUSB0: No such file or directory
logger (20.02.2021 14:05:48): connect station 2 (RMS-300 via USB HID).

Is it likely that there is a problem with the data cable from the Ultimeter or perhaps the RS232-USB converter has packed in ?

OK. Today I checked through everything and I decided to reset the logging mode. Meteohub recommends Peet Bros stations need to be set to "data logging", "packet" or "complete record" (preferred) mode.

Following reset to complete record mode at the base station, the data is now coming through again to meteohub.

I cannot recall having to reset logging mode before (in the past 8 years) but for some reason the Peet Bros base station must have got bumped off its set logging mode.
