Meteobridge PRO Percentage of Received Packets

I have a Meteobridge PRO Red set up to receive data from my Davis Instruments Vantage Pro 2 directly from the instruments. Most of the time the percentage of correctly received packets is 90% to 100% However, I have also seen it as low as 7% occasionally. Most of the time the signal strength is between -55 and -60db. Sometimes it is between -60 and -65db. I have the sensitivity set to -70db. Should I have it set to maybe -65db? What is this sensitivity setting? Is it a threshold or a gain setting or ?? The software version is 5.4 (July 27 2022, build 14790). The firmware (FW) version is 1.4.

Thanks

I would let settings as they are. The changes might be triggered by some sporadic RF noise generated by a device close by?
Do you have gaps in your data collection? If not, you are mainly fine.

I have not observed any gaps in my data. As to RF noise, my WiFi router operates on 2.4 GHz and is within 1 meter. I don't know of anything operating at 915 MHz in my house or of anything that would generate harmonics around 915 MHz. I'll keep the settings as they are and keep a watch on it. Thanks.

The sensitivity setting controls/filters noise on the signal reception between MBPro and the ISS (900+mhz band). Signal strength around -60db should be fine. If you think -70db is being too restrictive then you could try -75 or -80db but because you have good signal much of the time and no data loss then -70db appears fine, signal/packet drop/loss down to 7% is due to some other factor?

What is the distance between the MBPro and the ISS?

The distance is approximately 118 feet or 36 meters. There are 2 walls in-between. When using the stock stubby antenna the signal strength was around -90 db. I purchased a dipole antenna which improved the signal strength to around -60 db to -55 db. I have only seen 7% good packets once. It is mostly around 90% to 100%.
