Need to accept license once per day

Since the license acceptance dialog was added a few revisions back, it seems that I am forced to accept it once per day when I log in for the first time. This happens regardless of if Meteohub has just been updated to a new version (where the license page is expected), or if I have already accepted the license for that version (where I think it should send me directly to the System Info page.)
Has anyone else had this problem, or is it a mysterious quirk in my browser (Firefox 3.0.1) that I need to hunt down? I am accessing the NSLU2 locally behind a NAT firewall with a static IP address (192.168.*)
That leads me to a related question: How does Meteohub identify that you have accepted the license agreement? Does it set a cookie on the remote computer, or does it set a flag in its own file system?
