Barometric Pressure Issue - MB Pro 2. **solved**

Sorry to be so needy but I seem to be having an issue with my new MB Pro 2 barometer reading. My new MB Pro 2 is reading 29.86 inHg, but my old MB MR-3020 is reading 29.81 inHg which is exactly the same as my Davis Vantage Pro 2 Plus console. Any thoughts?

I would check the configuration/settings/calibrations of the 3020 & VP2 relative to actual pressure, same with MB2, what Alt is used in the config etc. There is really nothing to say the 3020 & VP2 even though they agree with each other (as such) may both be off?

Thanks Matt…. I didn’t make any configuration changes to the 3020 or the vantage or the mb pro. The alt is all set the same at 498 ft.

Barometric pressure can get tricky, the 3020 from memory is probably much the same as a Pro or Pro2, mostly relative to Alt? A VP2 has inputs for both Station Elevation and Sea-level Barometer. With all this everything needs to be equal and that's not always "exactly" possible

Meteobridge PRO2 has a high quality BMP390 sensor from BOSCH which I would regard even more precise than the ones used by Davis ins their consoles. However, by applying some calibration as suggested by Mattk you can tweak to make it closer to the console data.
Remark: The pressure data from the console is not provided via RF, so Meteobridge PRO2 doe snot have access to it.
