I want to connect a webcam to my MB Pro.
I already have two webcams and I wonder if anybody here has managed to connect these.
1.
COOAU 833 outdoor security camera (4 years old)
2.
TrendNet PTZ IP-TV422W (15 years old)
Failing these I will purchase a simple indoor camera (where the IR can be switched off).
I have been recommended a Foscam but which model?
There is one model Foscam X5 - 5MP - will this work?

if your camera is able to provide you with a picture via a http request, you can use it with Meteobridge.
Did you read the respective section in the MB WiKi ?

if you can retrieve a picture from your camera by entering into your browser:
http://your-camera-IP:port*/path/picture file name (depends on your camera; *) :port is only needed if the port is different from port 80, default http port)
Your camera manual or some manufacturer website/webpage should provide you with the necessary information (URL), provided the camera supports that feature.
If you can retrieve a picture, then Meteobridge can do the same - and you can do as described in the WiKi (see above)
