Weatherlink 6313 setup

Hi,

I bought a Weatherlink 6313, but I didn't find a guide about how to setup Meteobridge to read data from Weatherlink Cloud. I already add the API V2 Key + Secret, but no sensor appears.

Not sure what you are expecting to do? 6313 is a console which reads from a Davis sensor suite and displays/uploads to WeatherLink.com

Meteobridge can receive data from the same Davis sensor suite and then can do various uploads including WeatherLink.com but only if it is a MBNano, not a MBPro etc

Not sure what you mean by setting up Meteobridge to read data from WeatherLink Cloud?

Meteobridge can't read data from Davis 6313, so I want to read data from Weatherlink Cloud, the only way to have my Meteobridge been feeded by my Davis.

Meteobridge needs to receive the data from the ISS same as the 6313 receives data from the ISS. Meteobridge can not receive data back from the WeatherLink Cloud and assume here you are referring to WeatherLink.com to whihc the 6313 would be uploading?

Exacly.
So, in my case, Meteobridge will be useless until be compatible with Weatherlink Live Console (6313). Won't be?

So you have a Meteobridge and not a Meteobridge Pro then?

You could use a meteostick (about 160$) as an add on to your meteobridge.
That way your could read the ISS data directly.

Adding weatherlink.com support to Meteobridge, would IMHO add another can of worms to the complexity of MB without adding a lot of extra users.

Also one needs a higher-priced upgrade to your weatherlink.com account to get the data more frequently.
That would easily offset the cost of a meteostick versus wl.com for the lifetime of the ISS.

Regards,
wim

Strange, I read at WXForum this message:

"Latest version of Meteobridge can read back data from the Davis cloud. This is worse than getting data directly from the Davis console, but is better than nothing. Obvious shortcomings are missing rapidly changing wind speed and direction events, which the Davis cloud does not provide."

Ok I see what you are referring now, I don't see this option but that might be because it's a MBPro and able to read sensor data direct? I will start another MBPro and see what I can see, have multiple stations uploading but a 6313 I don't have but that won;t matter as it's only reading data back.

My thoughts are you won't see sensors (as such) as all the MB is doing is reading archive data (@15 minutes on a basic plan) back from the cloud that has been uploaded from something like a 6313? The Cloud is a virtual station. Original release was Septemeber 18, 2023 release that noted is was a Beta implementation. I see further comments on October 7, 18, 2023 release, Feb 13, 2024

I think is what you are referring to. If so this how you set it up.

Sorry, I just checked and it's a console for you but probably a similar setup.

Quite a different setup, WLL and the 6313 Console are at the user location whereas the MB is reading already uploaded data back from WeatherLink.com (Davis WL Cloud)

@Wessel I have setup a MBPro with Davis WL Cloud and associated API V2 Key & Secret but what I see is some data which is obviously coming back but not all and that may be because I have multiple stations (AirLink, WLIP, MBNano etc) under the one WeatherLink account but the API applies to the account and not an individual station? There is only one AirLink station in this account and the MBPro is receiving AQ data and that can only be from WL Cloud? Just don't have a single station in an account to test the theory.

Do you have just the one (1) station in the account you are using the API from?
