NanoSD Continually Fast Blinking and will not complete boot. **solved**

My NanoSD was working fin up until about 3 hours ago when I stopped getting data via WeeWx locally and nothing was uploading to Weather Underground.

I have rebooted and full power cycled, but the issue persists.

I can occasionally get into the initial setup using my phone and the 192.168.169.1 IP and all my settings from before appear to be there.

The Vantage Pro2 console does not appear tot have any issues receiving from the station.

I do have a 1A PSU connected and have had since I got the NanoSD.

After a few power cycles, I got into the 192.x.x.x address, saw the message the LAN and WLAN connectivity was OK, and press enter to reboot with the previous IP.

It rebooted and IO saw a firmware download /database rebuild; then actually got the normal Meteobridge GUI at the previously used IP address.

The GUI is very sluggish, and the Weather dashboard that I have been using:

http://<IP Address>/PWS2/index.php

just seems to not want to load.

It finally got to where I could not reliably connect to the 192.x.x.x with my phone.

It appears that there may be an issue possibly with the WiFi on my NanoSD.

What I noted when it did briefly connect is that the strength of the connection was almost nothing as seen in the LinkSys router, where is was always very strong before. The NanoSD and the router are in the same room.

Is there any place that could check/service the NanoSD?

Additionally, I tried using the reset button all, all the way to the full reset.

Each time it would have incomplete results, sometimes it would get its IP, but then you could not log in, only via the 192.x.x.x interface.

When it would get an IP address, its signal strength to the Linksys was 1-day (smallest indicator).

Reverted back to the MR3020 and get a full strength connection.

Please make sure the power supply is rated 1A and that you have additional batteries in the console to help with power demand spikes.

Can you bring the NANO to a location with better WLAN connectivity? The tiny chip antenna on the NANO does not give it great WLAN reach.

Anything changed in the WLAN? It does not go fine with MESH networks.

The PSU is the same 1A that has been used since I got the NanoSD. I even replaced it with a new 1A unit.

The console is in the same room as the WiFi router, unobstructed line of sight is about 10 feet.

No changes made to my network.

I had the IP address set as reserved as well so it got the same one every time.

NanoSD is back on line.

What I ultimately did to fix:

Removed the previously reserved IP address in the LinkSYS router (this had been OK for a long time).

Reset the NanoSD, reset button - hold, 5 flashes, release.

Connected via the 198.168.169.1 address and configured the networking to be DHCP (it had previously been set to a manual IP, the one that had been reserved on the router).

Saved, rebooted and now it is online.
