It is highly recommended to update your Meteobridge to current Version 6.2 (released May 13, 2025) as this includes a security fix on the application code. Please let me remind that exposing your Meteobridge to the Internet is NOT recommended, as this is the precondition for exploiting any security vulnerability. As long as you operate the Meteobridge in your LAN only and do not allow for remote access from the Internet you are safe.

How to apply the fix:

• In case you are within the scope of the update program (first 2 years after license purchase or within a valid update license or by using Meteobridge hardware PRO, PRO2, NANO) this is simply done by selecting "newest on boot" as version option on "System - Administration" tab and to do a reboot.
• If you are out of update support, please just reboot your Meteobridge with any version setting other that "use installed version" to have the fix applied.

As the so fixed vulnerability is expected to be soon publicly communicated by interested organizations, it is highly recommended to follow above instructions ASAP especialy when your Meteobridge can be reached from the Internet (via remote login or port-forwarding on your router).
