Hi,

I have a Meteobridge Pro Red which hadn't been used for a few years - I did a factory reset and I can connect to in via a web browser with the default meteobridge login and via Putty as root. I have accepted the licence terms and can see some of the config pages in the browser, but I cannot access the pages under the System tab - I just get a blank screen for those pages.

I can see Meteobridge Landing Page (FW 1.4) when booting the device which seems to be making network connections out to the internet as there are entries in my firewall logs for accepted connections to:

Address 2: 65.108.64.96 tau.meteobridge.com

I can access the Network, Station, Weather Nets, Services, Licence, Monitor tabs.

I am prompted with a message banner:

Wizard: Please visit tab 'Station', finalize setup and press 'Save'
Wizard: Please visit tab 'System', finalize setup and press 'save and apply'

Attempting to access some of the pages seems to result in the device just hanging which requires a reboot for it to become responsive again.

Is there anything that I can attempt to recover this device?

The built in display screen is broken so I am limited as to how I can interact with it in that way.

I would really appreciate any pointers please.

How many times did the LED flash during the factory reset? And lic details were remained intact and you were able to connect via 192.168.1.1?

I don’t recall the red led, I think I may have assumed a factory reset because the device has no config saved for the David weather station or any of the other settings that I would have had previously saved.

The device picked up a DHCP address from my server so I used that to access it.

Is there a way to trigger a factory reset via telnet?

As the built in screen is broken, I cannot see how to do it that way.

Can I download the latest firmware to a USB and get it to flash from that?

The licence details are still there, it has a MBPRO number showing which is still the same as when I bought it with the David weather station.

Without the front screen to display the reset button options and ensure the Factory reset option then you probably require some assistance from Boris?

Each press of the Pin Hole moves the following sequence. Without a screen then 5 presses may reach the factory reset item then just wait, normally when any of the reset options are displayed waiting for the progress bar to run out then actions that reset option.

That seems to have done the trick, I can now access the System pages, and the device seems to have updated successfully to v6.3.
