Good evening
pleased to announce you can now install this new template as main template if you wish *note personal web server only not cloud version..
March 8th Aurora 2026 Rev - 2.01 (important fix)
Simple Update Simple-Update-Aurora-2026-Rev2.01
https://www.mediafire.com/file/xbwe1soj ... 1.zip/file
Master Download Aurora-2026-Rev-2.01
https://www.mediafire.com/file/ntomwfll ... 1.zip/file
It is a one theme only version there not multiple layouts , it is built on responsive css so therefore most devices, laptops, ipads, tablets, desktops etc will be fine.
setup screen has been reworked and slimmed down with only essentials and all are now categorised
many new module options and more can be added as and when requested .notifications can be disabled .
Instructions are exactly the same as the original aurora , there are two PDF files in the zip download nothing has change on how you generate end of day chart data. if you wish to use your existing chart data simply backup or download the weather34charts folder in your existing installation and once you have installed this version simply upload csv files you saved from that folder (weather34charts) into the new weather34charts folder
see screenshot example of what is required in terms of csv and folders
as in the past ideas can be introduced using the simple update method.
as always screenshots..have fun tinkering..brian

Good evening,
I only have 3 modules in the row on my iPad 11", but there are 4 modules in your screenshots? Can the menu be set to fade out softly or is it permanent?
I also have problems with scrolling, I need several attempts to see the modules at the very bottom in their entirety.

Thanks Torsten

ok that’s looking better in charts on iphone 16 pro max i do some adjustments for ipad but looking at your screenshot i dont think there is enough screen size to get four modules aligned
on ipad without making the elements smaller.
your charts on iphone 16 pro max below before update they were
misaligned

Yes, it looks better now on the iPad, with four modules in a row. The spacing to the right edge still needs some fine-tuning, Air Quality Symbol.

It'll be fine

In the chart view on the iPhone, the view can still be moved horizontally when scrolling. Can you fix that, like in the main view?
There is also a wide black area at the top of the iPhone, the page starts a little further down, and two scroll bars are displayed. The pop-up windows are not ideal on a small display. It would be nicer to have the same view as for the charts, also for weather forecasts, etc.
In horizontal iPhone orientation, there might be space for two modules?

Hi Brian,
I have also installed the new release and started playing around with it. Please see
www.paulwilman.com/W34. I am viewing it largely on a IMac
I have seen a couple of bugs as below:
1) The graph data appears to report a normal reading every 10 mins but also some random number as another reading
2) No graph data appears to be plotted for humidity
3) The WU forecast small unit (box 16 on my setup), the text box for the forecast is not big enough and yesterday the text box spread outside the main box
4) There is a blank space of about 1.5cm between the top of the aurora screen and the top of the web page. It looks a bit weird
5) When you go into the chart data and then click the home button it opens up a new instance of the aurora meaning I end up with multiple versions open
6) In the chart window, my Feb data does not seem to be updating - I just seem to have the pre-populated data from the initial install (1-8 Feb) despite uploading my own data. The Feb data did not seem to update overnight
7) On the today charts the chart for the "real feel" is only about half the size of the others
Just a few additional things I have seen.
Paul

Hello Paul
fixed many of these pending an update over weekend.
1.fixed found an anomaly from previous versions
2.the anomaly above was the root cause
3.fixed
4.fixed quick hack used it temporary to align for iPad 11'" torsten, it now has a proper solution
5.will fix that thank you.
6.could be a file permission on demo file included , basically remove the February.csv file from the 2026 folder.should create a new one next run
7.will look at that
been focusing on various iphone screen sizes there is so many (3 different ones per model) now currently gone back has far as iphone 11 dont think im going back any further.
look for the update over weekend address lot of other misalignments .apologize for releasing this in this state but had absolute zero feedback on beta release so i thought fook it release this in the hope of feedback.
has always your patience will become a virtue

Brian,
I tried removing the Feb.csv file from the 2026 folder. I then ran the end of day script from within meteobridge and no Feb file was recreated.
I will wait and see if anything happens at 2am tonight?
