Templates & FTP Upload issues

Are there any known issues with the export templates NOAA-monthly-iso & NOAA-yearly-iso (including imperial versions) in uploading using FTP?
Have no issues at all with other export templates (such as standard-iso.exp, standard-imp.exp etc) across Nano/Pro/Pro2 which all upload fine using FTP but try uploading the NOAA files, which generate just fine on the local flash but end up on the FTP server preceded by mb_ which is a FTP upload mechanism the reason for is understood however why some export files have absolutely no issues, these NOAA export templates uploading to exactly the same user account typically fails.
I have had the odd NOAA upload work as expected but just can't isolate the common point cause of failure. Though it might have something to do with editing/saving NOAA.exp but could not isolate that either?
