Hallo

Habe auf einem Mini ATX Board mit einer 80 GB Festplatte Debian Etch and a Half von CD installiert.Danach über den USB Stick das setup.tgz.
Die Installation ging einwandfrei, alle Dateien und Verzeichnisse sind angelegt.
Nur jetzt läuft Debian nicht mehr.Ich kann mich anmelden die Sitzung wird nach 10sec. beendet.
Kann es sein das das setup.tgz die Partitionen verändert und so die grafische Oberfläche nicht mehr geht, oder wo könnte es sonst noch daran liegen?

The installation went perfectly, all files and directories are created.
Only now runs Debian mehr.Ich I can not log in the session after 10sec. ended.
Could it be the setup.tgz the partitions and so changed the graphical user interface no longer is, or where else could it be due?

Meteohub works with the net-inst debian etch and a half. This does not include X11 or so. If you want to set up a x86 Meteohub system, I would recommend to use the debian install as mentioned in the manual.

Hello

I have installed a Debian full version an setup.tgz.
The PC go in terminal version and i can update per LAN to the version 3.2c.

The data and system shows 3090MB from 75999MB,
Is this correct?
Only swap shows -1MB frm -1MB.
What can I do?

I would recommend to do Debian install as explained in the instructions. You can go alternative ways, but consequences are hardly predictable. What partitions have to be setup is also explained in the instructions.

The generic path will have it's own challenges on every platform. While I can give some hints, I can't guide you through the process until success. Sorry, but I simply cannot dig into every specific situation. I hate not being more helpful, but I hope you might understand.
