Hi, first of all I wish you a happy new year. Meteohub is now about 15 months old and I want to say thanks to you for your suggestions, bug-reports, and support.

In 2009 there is a change in pricing for new Meteohub licenses. Reason is that tax rules here in Germany force me to charge 19% VAT for licenses I sell from 1st January 2009 on (they cancelled my VAT free startup period). So license fee will be 59 Euro (instead of 49 Euro in 2008). Fee for a second or third Meteohub license is 49 Euro. When ordering a Meteohub license from me, you will get a license key and invoice via e-mail. This invoice will state the VAT part, so depending on you tax status you can handle this as any other good your purchase.

While the price raises by 10 Euro the following things remain as is:
  • Existing licenses will not be affected.
  • License fee remains a one time charge for one system, without time limit.
  • Switching licenses to new hardware remains free of charge.
  • Demo versions with time limit will be free of charge for evaluation purposes and can be activated to full functionality later on.
  • Updates remain free of charge.
I will try to keep Meteohub being a growing product (in reach and scope) to make it worth 59 Euro for new users.
