Mit Version 4.1 verläßt Meteohubs mehrstations-Feature den experimentellen Bereich.

Beim Update von 3.x auf 4.1 müssen die Wetterstation und die Sensoren in Meteohub neu konfiguriert werden.

a) Wetter Station:
Die Wetterstation auswählen, die Anschlußart auswählen, Stationshöhe und Art der Berechnung von Wind Chill and Normaldruck auswählen and dann "Speichern " drücken.

b) Sensoren:
Jedem Sensor muss ein eeindeutige ID zugeordnet werden, damit die Sensordaten unter dieser ID aufgezeiochnet werden können. Ohne ID, keine Datenaufzeichnung.
Man kann die in 3.x verwendeten IDs unten im Bereich Zusätzliche IDs sehen. Diese IDs sollten nun oben den Sensoren der angeschlossenen Wetterstation zugeordnet werden. Dies erfolgt durch einfaches Auswählen per drop-down-Liste. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass denselben Sensoren dieselben IDs wie in der Vergangenheit zugeordnet werden. Wenn IDs zugeordnet wurden, müssen diese unten aus der Liste gelöscht werden, da jede ID nur einmal verwendet werden kann.
Wenn die Zupordnung von IDs abgeschlossen ist, "Speichern" drücken. Sollte eine rote Fehlermeldung erscheinen, dass IDs mehrfach verwendet wurden, dies bitte bereinigen und erneut "Speichern" drücken. Wenn keine Fehlermeldung erscheint, wurden die Einstellungen gespeichert.

With Version 4.1 Meteohub's new multi-station feature is leaving the experimental zone.

When updating from 3.x to 4.1 please have in mind to configure your station and sensor IDs from scratch.

a) Weather Station:
Select your weather station, define type of connection and set altitude and how to compute sea level pressure and wind chill. Having done that press "save"

b) Sensors:
You have to give the sensors that Meteohub can read data from unique IDs to get data logged according to these IDs. No ID definition, no data logging.
You can see the IDs you have used in 3.x at the bottom of the page. Please select these IDs for marking your weather station's sensors. This is simply done by selecting the right IDs from the drop-down list. Take care that you give your sensors the same ID they had before. When you have assigned IDs, delete these from the additional sensors list at the bottom, as an ID is just allowed to be used once.
When you are done with ID assignment press "save" and correct ID definition errors if they are prompted. When "save" does not cause a red error message, assignment is ok and has been stored.

Installation lief problemlos, bislang keine Fehler bekannt und auch die notwendigen Einstellungen waren gut erklärt. Was ich nur nicht ganz verstehe, ist die Hinweis in der System Info:

"aktiviert (1 Station), Mehrstationsdemo endet in 46 Tagen"

Ich habe also jetzt die lizensierte 4.1 laufen, der Mehrstationsmodus läuft aber nur als "Demo"? Was passiert nach Ablauf der Demozeit und wie kommt man an die "komplette" Vollversion?

Ob es nach März ein modifiziertes zukünftiges Lizenzmodell gibt oder es wie gehabt bei einem Lizenztyp bleibt, steht noch nicht fest. Bis Ende Februar wird das entschieden sein.

Installed 4.1, all problems now sorted.

What is the status of WH-1080 wind sensor reading with this update. I am still using version 3.1 so do I need to make some extra steps?

You can directly go to 4.1

I don't remember what has been done on wind speed things regarding wh1080 since 3.1. Please give it a try.

Important Remark for WH-1080 users: It looks like specification how to interpret wind readings of WH-1080 have not been correct. This may have resulted in too low reported wind speeds (factor 2.6). By applying this update, this is adapted for new data. To correct wind readings for the past, Meteohub's calibration function can be used. Please apply a factor of 2.6 for wind speed since 20000101000000 and apply a factor of 1.0 since the moment you install this update (200901xxxxxxxx). Wind speeds reported to weather networks in the past are not corrected by this. If you have the impression that Meteohub already reports correct wind speeds for your WH-1080 then don't apply this update and wait for the next update to get more clarity on this.
