eBox-3300 and WLAN

Greetings - I am very interested in buying the eBox-3300/Meteohub and had 2 Qs:
1. the literature I have read indicates "Wireless LAN Optional". Does the eBox-3300 Standard come "WLAN Ready" and all I would need is to buy the appropriate antenna for the WLAN jack on the back?
2. Rather than utilizing the wireless antenna and jack on the back, would it be possible to use one of the USB connectors to connect a USB Wireless Network Adapter instead. (I do that on one of my PCs and it allows for more flexibility in placement and signal strength).
