DEUTSCH:

ENGLISH:

Update to Meteohub V4.2e (NSLU2 and x86) brings these features:
* Fixes a bug in sensor data assignment for "used system partition" and "used data partition" for "data" sensors.
* "data" sensors are now also available via HTML data logger.
* Adds support for sending simple METAR data records via email as an option on weather network page. Example:
METAR 1234 031430Z AUTO 30102G05KT 14/09 Q1018 SLP212
* Adds a feature to send filled HTML templates via email (HTML-templates could only be uploaded via FTP so far). When files name specified for uploading a HTML template is an email address, then the filled template is sent via email to the given address. Subject of the email is also taken from the filename string where address and subject is separated by a colon. Email subjects can make use of time variables as explained in appendix E. Example: "max@mustermann.de:Todays weather data %H:%M" sends a filled template to "max@mustermann.de" with subject "Todays weather data 12:35", if template has been filled at 12:35.
* An Icon indicates the type of data to be uploaded or sent on "Graph Upload" page.
* Fixes a bug in auto-update function. Succeeding updates will be installable via Meteohub's auto-update feature.

Hi,
I get: "The document is being edited/updated by a User and is unavailable at this moment.", when I try to download this update.
Is it me or a bug in the forum?

I was able to download and update 4.2e just the same as usual, so I don't think it's anything general like a Forum problem.

Maybe it was just a matter of timing and will work if you clear your caches and try again?

When I upgraded to 4.2e my port 7777 stopped working. I had to manually set the network port from 80 to 7777 to be able to get to the menu and such.

Is this a new change?

Updates do not change anything in your settings. setting http port to 7777 is not recommende, as this results in a conflict with the backup http-server process that feeds port 7777.
Why backup http process has finished I cannot say from here. Does a reboot fix this? (please set http port back to 80 before rebooting).

I've been using port 7777 since day 1 back in March 2008 without issue. I can try another port. I believe my ISP blocks 80 so I can't use DDNS with that.

Steps

1) Go to "Weather Station" and add a station called 'System Data' and save.

2) Go to "Sensors"menu and set up the 'data' sensors (0-6) and click save.

3) This data will now be available for graphs and text.

Thank you cbhiii! I misunderstood the explanation under the v4.2d update. All set now. Thanks again.
