Will the new Vantage Vue run with meteohub?
It seems this new model from Davis is fully compatible with the VP2 range.

I know that the Vue console can connect to Vantage sensors (a subset). So on the RF side it seems to be 100% compatible. I assume that you have to connect the Davis data logger to it (as with the Vantage) and that the computer interface is the same like for Vantage (may be exactly the same logger?).

We will see, when the station becomes available. However, when it provides a computer connection Meteohub will be ported to that if necessary.

Here is a Weather-Watch topic message where prodata (a Davis dealer) says "The Vue units accept the standard WL loggers and, AFAIK (not had a chance to check in detail yet), the data output formats are therefore identical to the VP/VP2.".

The model number for the data logger (USB version) is the same for Vantage Vue as for Vantage Pro 2.

A similar situation seems to apply for serial.

I just got a VP2 with serial data logger and the box for the data logger part says "Connect Vantage Pro, Vantage Pro2, Vantage Vue or Weather Envoy".

yes, I also got notice from ambientweather, that it is 100% compatible, but limited to ISS sensors.

I wish adding new stations to Meteohub would be always as easy as this one ;-)
