My meteohub is successfully upgraded to new kernel. However, when I try to update it to 2.1a under the \"maintenance\" page.

I already upload the update file to meteohub under the file path \"/data/transfer/update-v2.1a.upd\".

Then I enter \"/data/transfer/update-v2.1a.upd\" under \"Maintenance -> System Maintenance -> Software Update (File)\" and press \"Install\".

I have below error.:blink:

File \"/data/transfer/update-v2.1a.upd\" successfully transferred.

Error: Update cannot be extracted or installed.

Before 2.1, I use this method to update meteohub and there is no problem anyway.

You are right. This should work, but doesn't. Will be fixed in 2.1b. Until then, please install with the \"Web\" Method. As the update files are not that big at the moment, this should work with most browsers...

If web based install doesn't work for you, you can do this:
1) login via ssh
2) cd /home/meteohub/update
3) ln -s update update2
4) do the file based installation.

The download section now has a \"file-based update enabler\". After file-based installation of this (web-based will not work), file-based installation of update 2.1a should work.

(cannot test it myself, please provide feedback if it solves the issue)

I did setup a system to test the update enabler. After a small change it now works.

I just did upload the working version... you find it at the link in the posting above.
