Hi, I have just received my RFXCOM with LAN

I have managed to get the RFXCOM read all my sensor data .... But I could not findout out how METEOHUB software reads this data over the LAN network.

When I goto Meteohub program, I deleted my old WMR200 Weather Station and I added a new one called RFXCOM. You can see the details here

Name
Type of Connection: TCP/IP or TCP/IP Meteohub (which one should I select)
IP Address : Port 192.168.1.111:10001
Hold time for live data 300seconds
Station's Altitude 110m

After these settings I get the following error

Warning: Weather station does not have a sensor assigned on "Sensors" page

Available Devices:
USB serial none
USB HID none

It doesn't say anything LAN....

Secondly; the sensors page does not show any of my sensors.

On the Meteohub LOG FILES section this is the ERROR I get:
logger (09.01.2010 18:22:25): station 0 (RFXCOM), error connect socket 192.168.1.111: port 10001: Connection refused

Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong Please ???

Regards

YIGIT

Hi,

You should use TCP/IP as the connection method.

Assuming that you left the configuration on the default port, 10001 is correct.

Make sure that you close the connection between your PC application and RFXCOM; the LAN module can not talk to 2 different hosts at the same time, this might be the reason of connection refused.

YJB you were right ......

Once turning off the RFXCOM PC application and reboot the meteohub , everything worked fine. Thanks for the tip :)

Finally my WMR200 is in my Bedroom , away from my Computer and RFXCOM and the METEOHUB makng all the work without the need of my WMR 200 close by while my PC is OFF ........
