La Crosse ws-3600 support?

Hi

I have a La Crosse WS-3600 weather station and was thinking about getting a SheevaPlug Meteohub. Does anyone know if this will work with the weather software? I know the La Crosse weather stations require HeavyWeather software to inferface in Windows but I've never used Linux before but would like to setup a weather station connected to the Weather Underground.

Thanks for an advice you can offer.

WS3600 is not supported. WS3600 has an extremely poor designed computer interface, that makes a physical RS232 port at the computer necessary. No RS232-USB adapters will work. Therefore most Meteohub platforms (like Sheeva) will never have a chance to support WS3600.

Sorry, you are out of luck with WS3600.

Many thanks for the reply. What is a recommended low cost wind speed, temperature and pressure weather station for sheeva use? Rainfall might be useful too.

Thanks
