HTML template update via remote admin

I've got my Meteohub up and running really well on my NSLU2 at our sailing club. :)
I have also set up dynamic dns and port forwarding etc. so that I can manage it remotely. :) :)
With this setup, is it possible to remotely upload HTML templates to the device, so that they can then be uploaded to our website?
I know I can set up the templates via the local LAN via the samba share (which is what I did when testing it locally at home), but can't see how to do it remotely.
TIA,
James

I would recommend to upload templates remote via ssh (putty). This will need port 22 open. user is root, standrad pw is meteohub.

Hi Boris,
Thanks - that's an obvious solution! However, I'm being a bit stupid here, as how - using puty - can I then transfer the files?
I can enter command line commands to administer the server, and change directory to the /data directory, but how do I actually do the transfer? Won't I need an FTP server running on the slug?
Thanks,
James

Another part of the PuTTY package can apparently handle file transfer. I've not used it, but here's a link to a very brief tutorial:

yep, ssh protocol can be used to transfer files as well. Many ssh clients have ssh based file transfer somehow included. winscp might be the easiest way for windows, on Linux I simply use scp.
