Does the fire-index work with WDL & Meteohub?

Hey guys, I'm using WDL 6.04 with the clientraw that Meteohub creates.
It works very well, except for the fire index. Anyone got that working?

Hi,

On my WDL site the firewire index is also not working,

May be it has something to do with the ET measurement?

This also happens on my site, http://meteoredondo.com/estacao/wdlive.html
The FWI does not work. I'm using WDL 6.05.

I think the Fire-Weather-Index in WDLive cannot work with Meteohub :( or need something else :!: :?:

Boris !!?? Please

Hello and thanks!

It was good that you can implement, because the FWI is very important in the countries of southern Europe. Summer promises to be very hot in France, Spain, Italy, Greece an Portugal.

I hope you can do in next update

Boris, the American Chandler Burning Index algorithm from current conditions is here: http://sandaysoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2789.

Also there is a link to a freeware international Fire Weather Index program (but no algorithm for that I saw when looking around the web site).

At one time I was playing around with this free software:

FWI Calc
http://www.wilddata.org.nz/fwicalc/index.php?page=9

Not sure if you can work it how to calulate it from using it.

I gave up because FWI is not too relevent to the UK, more how wet its going to be

To make things more complicated there seems to be two popular measurements:
CBI (chandler burning index), I have a computation for that
FWI (fire warning index) is not the same like CBI, but I didn't find a computation rule for it.

You can see differences between CBI and FWI here: http://jcweather.us/fwiCalc.php
