Help, Completely reset NSLU2, need to reprogram

Hello,
I have a licensed copy of Meteohub, which I purchased from AmbientWeather. It was working fine at my local club, until the wireless router went bad (I know the router went bad, not the NSLU2). In an effort to "repair" the system, some well meaning person did a complete reset of the NSLU2, by holding down the reset button. I found this out afterwards, and now have to get the system running again.
So, the problem is, I have a completely blank, flashed NSLU2. Nothing seems to be on it, not even Linux. I see it on my network, but cannot log in to it at the address. (it is not labeled meteohub anymore) Can someone please tell me, in a simple step by step method, how to re-install Linux on it, and then re-install Meteohub?
Thanks!

Hello,
I have the same problem.
Metehub was working fine. I did un upgrade and did not recognized the station any longer. I gave up trying. Some months later, my NSLU appear in the network but I can not login. Disks 1/2 dones not lite or blink at all, even if I try a new set up.
Any idea?. I have take a look to the doc but I can not find a way to keep trying.
Thank you in advance.
pd. Lesson learned, if its works, do not upgrade.

My Starting point is that my Linksys was flahed and working fine, just after a meteohub upgrate started to fail. First its did not recognize sensors. After many tries I gave up.
Some time after I am trying to bring it back again but does not work.
1- I can not reach it at 192.168.1.77
2- I try to reinstall meteohub by pluginf the rar fine on a 2G Usb stick on disk 1. I powert it on and Ready/status led blinks on yellow and Eth stady in green. After a while and some "beeps" both remain green steady. None of disk 1 of 2 turns on.
Any idea how can it get the Nlsu2 alive?.
Kind regards

The updates often make problems with USB stick visible, that have been there for some time.
I am 99% sure that problems with NSLU2s with aged USB sticks are related to USB stick errors that prevent the stick to boot correctly after having applied the update.

Dear Admin, totally right, problem solved.
Based on my experience, NSLU is quite sensitive to USB sticks error which in many cases does not affect the normal use of them on a computer. Is there a posibility to use a USB hard disk to store data instead of a flash memory?.
Kind regards

I am very curious about the usb HD alternative also!!
I have my NSLU2 running off a 40GB usb HD right now and meteohub is working just fine. The newest version of meteohub is not reading my Davis Pro 2, but I think this is a different issue. I think it has to do with a bug in the latest version trying to read the Davis Data Logger Data.

First of all your raw data does have invalid entries. Please cleanup "2010-11" on "inspect data" page.
Did you try running the actual "4.6s-experimental", which fixes quite a few vantage logging issues?
