Stale data aggregations?

When modifying the data files and looking at some aggregations I came across these "-min1" aggregations:

Code: Select all

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10656922 Sep 30 2009 data0-min1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 11125405 Sep 30 2009 data1-min1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 14838294 Sep 30 2009 data10-min1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 13085881 Sep 30 2009 data11-min1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 14577611 Sep 30 2009 data12-min1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10639400 Sep 30 2009 data2-min1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10916580 Sep 30 2009 data3-min1
Looks like these are minute by minute aggregations, all of them have not been updated since Sept 2009.
Are these leftovers from pre version 4.0, in that case, I can probably delete those files?
OR
Is something going wrong (although I have not seen any evidence that is pointing in that direction)
